1. I doubt Bieber's machine would ever allow him to take on that kind of project. WAAAAAYYYY too much time commitment when he could be making quick easy money on the concert tours, etc. Think about the shooting schedule of Lord of the Rings -- 438 days of principal shooting, plus 18 weeks of secondary shooting over three years -- then roughly double it. No way that's gonna work for a teen idol with a limited shelf life. Jackson had an agreement with his LotR cast that they would live in NZ for a year.

2. I would hope that Howard / Grazer wouldn't do that kind of stunt casting. Again, to reference LotR, there was very little box-office-draw in that cast. Probably the biggest "star" cast in the trilogy was either Ian McKellen or Cate Blanchett. The other principals were, no doubt, working actors, but they weren't box office gold.
