Dennis Quaid. Google his name under google images. He's the right age and build, and if you've ever sen the movei Wyatt Earp, he can play a cowboy type.

I HATE the pictures of Roland in the Wastelands. He looks like David frickin' Hasselhoff.

I can't see Dennis Quid as Roland, sorry. I think there's a similar thread for this somewhere. My vote goes to Viggo Mortensen, number one. I'd prefer Clint Eastwood, of course, but he's too old now. Maybe Clint as Cort, calling them maggots?

you see where I'm going with this? Have the whole thing directed by Sergio Leonne, or John Huston, with a Morricone soundtrack and were in buisness.

Just watched a movie I never heard of before on Netflix a few weeks ago called Centurion and kept thinking throughout the film that the lead actor (Michael Fassbender) would make a good Roland. It was actually a pretty good movie too.
