I am ticked off today because our coffee pot died. I am getting really tired of buying a new one every few months. I guess they just don't make them like they used to. It seems every one I get, quits faster than the last one. I NEED my coffee!! I only drink two cups, but still.......I am definitely more human after my two cups!!

got a bill for a medical office which was already paid. Now i must go fax my paper work.Crazy I must pay $1 apage for 6 pages,why cant i just send a photocopy.They won't except that.Pisses me off.

Ugh, ya'll I can relate......This dang water heater of mine has a mind of it's own.....Every time I use the hot water, the pilot light goes out!! ( it is only bout 3 yrs old too)

I am ticked off today (only kind of, bless their pea-pickin' hearts) because the table I've chosen at my favorite Mexican hole-in-the-wall is next to one occupied by two Valley Girls...

...consequently, I've been bombarded by the word "like" until I have to post this. It's worse when the subject matter of their dialog causes one of them, then both of them, to get agitated. For instance, recently they talked about some Valley Guy.

Then, in His infinite mercy/sense of humor, God reminded them of some other girl (whether or not another Valley Girl matters as much to me as where Himmler is buried).

Meanwhile, I remind myself I'm an adult, and that strangling is almost always bad. And that, like, I have the SKMB.

Just want to throw out a big "thank you" to the universe for screwing me again.

I went in Tuesday to help out at my daughter's school. While I was there, my kids math teacher pulled me aside to tell me that she had got caught passing a note, and that the contents were "vulgar" in nature. So after I was finished volunteering, I went to meet with the assistant principal, and read the note. It was bad, yes. Not as bad as I was expecting, which was okay, I guess. Turns out, my daughter only wrote the lovely words "Don't be a hater, Zen". Good news on one front, I guess... Not as creative as the "Go (screw) a dog", but of a higher caliber than the "hors" (which I think was supposed to be whores) that he called her and a friend. So she had ISS because she was involved, even though the other kids involved fessed up to the worst of it. And we had a nice long talk about it when she got home, all about doing the right thing, and if it feels wrong then it probably is, blah blah blah. So no computer privileges, no sleepovers this weekend.

Wednesday our hot water heater quit working. Apparently this is not unusual for this brand of water heaters- common enough for them to send the free "upgrade" kit at no charge to us, and for there to be a recall we know nothing about even though it is registered. Bad news- it won't be here until tomorrow, and we can decide if we want to pay a plumber weekend rates, or tough it out over the weekend. I'm thinking tough it out, because--> Our car won't start either! I think it's just the battery, which is one month past it's 2 year warranty. Go figure. But we NEED our car, otherwise we can't work. So after calling AAA to tow our car out from our driveway in order for us to use the other, older, less magnificent, putt-putty car to get my husband to work this AM, I get to pick out a new battery and spend money we don't have because I have to pay the tags and taxes on these same two crap cars.

Oh, and my $40 worth of seedlings are killed- thanks rain and hail. Everything except the zucchini (or courgettes to you limeys), of which I now have 24 beautiful plants. So, if anyone wants any, I have a great cake recipe...
