I volunteer at my daughter's school, and I am in charge of coordinating the fundraiser for the 8th grade trip to Worlds of Fun. I heard about a raffle that one of the local car dealerships holds- $10 a ticket, and at the end of the year the winner picks out a car or truck. So I initially emailed the woman who handles it 3 weeks ago. The next week I called. Last week I emailed, then called, then called the main office to make sure the woman still worked there. She does. I got an email from her on Friday saying she was out of the office, but would get back with me on Monday (yesterday). Do I need to tell you that she did not get back with me on Monday? So I just sent another email. I've gotta say, it does not give me a lot of confidence, and it irritates me to no end that the only contact there apparently doesn't want to be a contact. But then again, it is a FORD dealership... lol
The only reason I am kinda set on this fundraiser is that the kids keep ALL the profit- otherwise I would have moved on.
