I'm ticked off at myself for eating 4 white fudge covered Oreo cookies totalling 400 calories! (These are those special edition holiday Oreos that are so amazing that God himself would give his only son for one.)
Humppph, extra work at the gym.

I bought some candy at Halloween and was handing it out. I had a bag of "cookie and cream" Hershey bars and had never had one before so I ate one. It was delicious so I promptly removed all of the "cookies and cream" candy bars from the bowl I was giving to the kids and saved them for myself and ate all of them. How horrible is that? This is why the only time there is ever candy in my house is at Halloween. I also buy way too much telling myself, "I'll probably have more kids than usual this year," knowing that's not true.
Oh my God Ben! THey are the single most delicious thing in this world. (Okay, fruit roll-ups are sort of special to me too.) Oh, and donuts--cake donuts. And I love lemon loaf cakes. And I want to eat a whole bowl of onion dip and Ruffles chips, and cheese enchilidas, oooo that sounds deee-lish....
Arrrgggh! I think I just added another 400 calories just thinking about this stuff.

I hear ya. This is why I usually buy crappy Halloween candy, so I DON'T eat it myself. Although this year I did buy good stuff and I didn't sneak any of it -- until about a week after and it was still sitting around.I had 3 of the peanut M & Ms and then told my older son to take it upta college with him.
Next year I'm going to hand out newspaper coupons -- what kid wouldn't want buy 2 Vick's Vaporubs and get one free?

I'm ticked off today because I have to work tomorrow when we celebrate our independence day. Wish I had off instead. But when it's a holiday work shift I get extra paid so maybe I don't complain to much about the workday.
My cable is acting up again. It's done this a few times. It better be working next week so I can DVR Bag of Bones (gotta work, of course. another reason to be ticked off. What did I do with that winning lottery ticket...).
Just read the Grammy nominees for Hard Rock and Heavy Metal:
'Public Enemy No. 1,' Megadeth
'On the Backs Of Angels,' Dream Theater
'White Limo,' Foo Fighters
'Curl of the Burl,' Mastodon
'Blood In My Eyes,' Sum 41 - Huh????? You kidding me?????
Now maybe I'm completely biased, but in what universe is Sum 41 considered hard rock or heavy metal? I can even maybe understand the Foo Fighters having a place in that list, but not Sum 41. I don't put much stock in the Grammy shtick and I never have, but it seems like they are trying even harder than normal to tick me off. And it's working. The same people who run the Grammys must also run the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm sorry, but if the Beastie Boys (who are among the class of 2012 nominees) are considered rock and roll then I'm Adolph Menjou. Anyway, I better stop because I don't want to get off on a rant about the Rock and Roll Hall of Shame. That's one of my biggest pet peeves and thinking about it is ticking me off even more.
