No one else is "ticked off"? No one else has had any complaints for over a day? That ticks me off.

Hi,
Well, I went into hospital for tests and came out with shingles diagnosed so I'm pretty ticked off.
Apparently the virus liies dormant in your system for decades, folks, so you if ever had chickenpox like I did at about 14 you're at risk!)
Shingles
Long days and pleasant nights
Nasty stuff, shingles. Sorry to hear that, John.
That is serious stuff John, hope you get over it soon.
I'm ticked off because there's nothing to be ticked off about.

It's amazing. No one has really heard a lot about Shingles for years and in one 6 month period I know of 3 cases one of which is my oldest son. It's not a fun disease and I pray for a speedy recovery for you.
Speedy recovery John. Hope you feeling well soon.
I've heard that stress is a contributing factor, too, Spidey. I can believe that as ironically the only time I've ever had shingles was during the building construction of my current house. Anyone who's gone through that process can identify with the stress levels. Then add on living in a 30' motor home with a partner, a cat, and a dog.If you can get treatment within the first couple of days of developing the rash, you lower your chances of developing postherpetic neuralgia. It was irritating but I was lucky not to have more severe complications as I've heard it can be extremely painful.
One of my co worker had shingles in her eye once. And I heard that she had called my boss and cried in the phone that she are in pain don't see anything and had been several time in the hospital to get some help. Luckily she recovery very quickly. So what I've heard from her. It seems to be painful.
