I am ticked off today because...

The Toothpick Man is driving me nuts.
I don't know who he is but he's gonna get it when I catch him.
There is some fella (I assume it's a fella) who is promiscuously dropping toothpicks on the floor in the store I work at.
When I find them I grab a tissue and pick them up, this has been going on for 5 years now and it has irritated me because it's gross and rude, but now I'm pisssed because a little girl in flip flops found the toothpick before I did, well actually her big toe did where it met the underside of her toenail.
You know that had to hurt! She was crying, bless her little heart but she was being as brave as she could as her Mom pulled it out. I just happened to be near by and apologized sincerely to them until I was blue in the face and got the girl a Popsicle, that seemed to smooth things over but Toothpick Man had better hope I don't catch him in the act.... he'll get an earful to be sure.

I am ticked off because for awhile now, I have not been able to come to the SKMB during the day as much as I would like. I'm hopelessly hooked. Bummer.

I am ticked off today because my husband is razzing me for drinking tea. Hello? I gave up Coke Classic cold turkey. I gave up chocolate cold turkey. I slashed my salt. I cut most of my protein. I eliminated a few other foods. All in the name of being nice to my kidneys.

I drink some tea so I won't lose my marbles and he starts in on me. Maybe he'd like me to go back to being the totally decaf Beyotch from hell. I'm thinking somewhere along the same lines as that lady in the 'have a happy period' email....

I'm ticked off today because my vacation was too short, it was a lot of places we hadn't time to see. On Wednesday we return back to Finland. But I try to enjoy it these last days we still are here.

I am ticked off today because I wish I was a 'mandatory reporter' so I couldn't be muzzled about a little girl in an abusive situation. I've spent so many HOURS crying for her but I have been muzzled by a friend of her mother's and outright ORDERED not to call child services. I don't care about the divorce the parents are going through and how ugly it is getting for the adults. All I care about it that little kid and my hands are tied, my eyes are red from crying, and I want to seriously harm the b------ who is her father (and maybe smack her mother once for not getting her out of there fast enough).
