I loved Ollie, his story made me cry and made me and pull for him to make it so hard.

Ollie and Big Jim were my faves. I wonder who will portray Ollie in the TV series.

I like Julia Shumway, because she, IMO, is the wise-ass character of this book. In many Sai King novels, there is always a "wise-ass" character. In the Dark Tower it was Eddie Dean. In It, it was Ritchie Tozier. In The Stand it was Larry Underwood. The Long Walk's wise-ass contestant I suppose might have been Barkovitch. But yeah, I love the wise-assery of Julia, and her wit. Her dialouge, esp with Col. Cox is great. It reminded me of Eddie and Roland. A wise ass cracking wit with someone with no sense of humor whatsoever.

What a great little storyline that was. Very powerful.
