    Hi,

ok this thread is really old but I didnīt know where to write this...and itīs so cool to have the opportunity to do this, especially when youīve watched a movie alone.

Iīve just watched The Green Mile and I have to thank all users here who told me months ago to read the book and to watch the movie.

I was surprised how good the movie was. The only thing I didnīt like was that Paul got some quotations of Brutal, who was my hero in the book

The whole time I was thinking "you wonīt cry, ok?" but

when Del got his mouse back I couldnīt help myself (itīs ridiculous, isnīt it?)
Iīm glad that this story is fictional because of Del. I already liked him in the book (hm...or I felt so sorry for him), but Michael Jeter was sooo cute in the movie and was such a great actor. Bit itīs strange to like him just because a mouse.

I donīt know why, but I thought of Braveheart while watching John Coffey in the movie.

My father watched it a long time ago and I wondered why he was close to tears (I didnīt know the movie then; even didnīt know the book).
Iīve should known it better, Iīm just like my father...

The most surprising thing was that I wouldnīt have been so emotional if I hadnīt read the book before...so I think, itīs a great movie with great actors.

By the way, it was also really funny at some moments and Mr. Jingles is sooooooooo cute! Love mice.
I wonder why the mouse was something like a central character although Mr. King seems to hate rats.

    *sigh*

    Many greetings

I really liked The Green Mile (book and movie). It was one of the few movies that followed the book really well. Too many of the movies make you wonder if the director even read the book.

Another King masterpiece, watching it over and over and it never seems to get old or boring.
