real Life S. King Night Mares ??

I only had one nightmare that was DEFIANTLY inspired by King .
Other nightmares may have been...But I cant say for sure.

My SK. nightmare starred "The blue hoody guy" from the book
CELL. Im not sure why this should be...but there yah' go.

what were your King inspired NightMares > ?

Also I wanna ask about the closed thread : Questions for Stephen ?
Are we gonna here anything about that soon ? Can we expect
any answers , before NOV ? if so...how many answers ?

I really want to believe that Mr. King himself read my post
called "Bootleg Information" and decided to give us a few answers
about the story , (because of ME)...LOL.

Only one, too, Cell-inspired as well, w/King featured among a bunch of Big Oil customers.
Many others definitely not.
Others maybe inspired by the idea that we must die because we have known them.

I do have a real life Stephen King nightmare. I'm pretty sure I've told it once on the (older) MB though... so Long Timers, you may just want to go and make a cup of tea.

My nightmare happened while I was awake:

A few years ago I had to have a bit of surgery and because I was 22 weeks pregnant, the anaesthetist decided to do it under local anaesthetic instead of using a general. (Gar!)
So, I was very nervous partly because of the type of surgery, partly because of the concern for baby...and well just because there was some guy cutting into me and taking bits out... and I was about to be awake for all of that! I was pretty non-responsive to the surgeon's questions and what-not and was trying hard not to shake. (Kind of important to the guy (& Me!) with the scalpel.)
A nurse was standing by the head of the table holding my hand and she was a Godsend really. So, unfortunately this cutty-guy happened to be wearing one of those splash-guards and because the site he was working on was ... well kinda up close and personal--I could see quite a bit of what he was doing in the glass/plastic or whatever it was made of.
And you know how when they cut veins they use a wee cauterising thingy to stop you from having a big bleed? Well crikey, it stinks like heck because they are essentially burning those veins shut! (I'm meeeelting!)
So, I'm getting hugely tense by now, right? (Those heart-rate blips were getting closer and closer together) The surgeon has been cutting and digging and pulling like he's trying to remove a goodly part of me and then all of a sudden... he goes reeeeeeally quiet.
He exchanges looks with the anaethetist and nurses and by now I'm thinking Holy crap, that's it then--I'm beggared.
He looks down at me all dead-pan and says. "Oh my God, I've found an eye!"



I told him that was a pretty scary trick to play on a Stephen King fan... he was also a fan (obviously) and we discussed Stephen's work during the rest of the surgery. (Imagine that--being calmed by horror stories during surgery? Twisted much, Flakes? )

Just one SK inspired nightmare strangely enough. It came after reading The Tommyknocker's.....I dreamt I was in Bobbi's shed, I don't remember a whole lot more about this dream, except that that shed is not a place you ever want to be.
