Saw J Edgar and found it interesting from a historical stand point. Since I was reading 11/22/63 and there were some references to Hoover, I enjoyed it.

Recent movies that I recorded with my VCR were Terminator 4 from FX or TNT along with A&E's Bag of Bones movie Part 1 and Part 2.
Went to New Year's Eve with my husband this weekend. I loved it! It's a bit of a chic flic but my husband seemed to enjoy it okay.
We watched Super 8. I enjoyed it up until the last ten minutes. ( the ending was just a little flat)
Saw "Rise of the Planet of the Apes" last night. That James Franco really gets around...seems like he is in every movie nowadays...great movie though if you are a fan of the old Planet of the Apes movies, this one sets those up beautifully.
I agree, Mookie. They sorta tried to resolve all the madness in like five minutes, and it felt a little forced. I like it when movies leave some stuff to your own interpretation, but with this I was like "that's it?"
I re-watched Harry Potter: The Deathly Hallows, Part 2. The greatest HP movie indeed. I love it so much.
Also watched Welcome to the Rileys. It was not so bad, not that great as I expected, but still. It is worth watching once.
The Awakening - OK ghost story.
The Rum Diary - shambles. Poor.
Justice - forgettable revenge paranoia thriller
Twilight/Breaking Dawn 1 - soppy rubbish
50/50 - very good, not a comedy though
My Week With Marilyn - pleasing and touching small scale tale
Dream House - potential in spooky story not realised
Hugo - terrific visuals, esp. 3D, but story becomes something else halfway through
Happy Feet 2 - MUCH better than the first one (esp. if you don't care for dancing)
The Big Year - entertaining light drama - not a comedy
The Thing - OK, no big surprises
Coyote Ugly! What a fun movie...
Conan the Barbarian!!! OK! admit I got it because the actor that plays Conan is uh... easy on the eyes, but I have to say that is actually a very very good movie.
