Watched The Other for the first time in ages Saturday night. First time for my daughter - she loved it, too. This was a favorite movie from my childhood (Jr. High, actually) so it was neat to see her react just like I did many years ago....

Sorry to hear this isn't very good. My kids are looking forward to seeing this one. ( they'll probably like it anyway, as they tend to love anything with animals)

Didn't say it wasn't very good, I said it was forgettable. The kids will love it, and you'll probably enjoy it: I did.

Tin Tin - exciting family-oriented action fare.
Paranormal Activity 3 - again summons up fear from your expectations of what you are about to see. Doesn't answer any questions, though.
Real Steel - Rocky meets Transformers meets Rain Man. I enjoyed it much more than I expected to.

Season of the Witch, Nicholas Cage...before you cringe....it's actually a pretty damn good flick. Knights, plague, witchcraft, lots of sword play. And his sidekick is Ron Pearlman...how you do wrong with that. Seriously though, Cage's best effort in quite a while I thought, top notch movie.
