Watched Shutter Island the other night. I thought it was pretty good. Very shocking twist towards the end. ( Although I wasn't crazy about the scene with his family by the lake.)

The Number 23. It was very interesting to watch the story unfold, and I thought Jim Carrey was alright in a serious role.
I saw the Blob remake from the eighties. Co-written by Frank Darabont and his actor buddy there that appears in all his films (prosecutor in Shawshank, one of the guards in Green Mile, not sure of his name though) played the sheriff.
Case 39 it started off a bit slow, but really picked up in the end. Cats and dogs the revenge of Kitty Galore. I thought it was too cute. ( Didn't hurt that a GSD had a big part LOL)
Yeah, I think you're one hundred percent right Ms Mod
Saw a great documentary this weekend called Kings of Pastry. Film was made by the same guy who did the Bob Dylan doc back in the day, "Don't Look Back." Deals with a competition in France to choose the best patissiers (pastry chefs). Amazingly engaging.
Batman with Michael Keaton, directed by Tim Burton. Definitely needed some brain r&r, and this fit the prescription perfectly.
We've been on a bit of a movie marathon lately- we've seen The Black Swan and The Fighter. Both were very good, so whatever movie I see next is probably going to suck!
I watched Black Swan last night. It was...good. I think Natalie Portman is one of the most beautiful actresses today, so that helps, but she's so petite in the movie, it disturbs me slightly. The movie was a bit slow at times (I thought it could do with an injection of Jack Black to lighten things up, but I always think a movie will improve with Jack Black), but it was definitely interesting. Worth watching.
