whats the latest movie you have watched?

Well, I for one am 16 and I hated it. Hated the book and the film. I don't truly see the appeal. Stephanie (sp?) Meyers is in no way even an adaquate writer in my mind nor are her storytelling skills anything but cliched and weak. (Well, save the sparkling vampire portion. I'll give it to her for originality but what kind of vampire sparkles?!?)
Anyways, there's a condensed version of my well-premeditated Twilight rant...

Hi Jacob, i would have to agree with your mother here.

The only decent thing about this one was Brendan Frazer but i was mightily peeved that whilst he now had an adult son he hadn't appeared to age himself...confusing. Also I didn't like that new lady who took over Rachel Weisz' role, i would rather they had killed her character off than have someone else reprise the role.

Watched Seven Pounds last night, not bad IMO.

Watched Hancock the other night - not bad. Not great but not bad. Had some funny moments and some thought provoking moments on how we perceive people.

Gonna watch Knowing tomorrow night - looks good on all the trailers but that means nothing!

Just saw Twilight... twas kinda boring. If I hadn't read all the books I don't think I would have continued to watch. I really didn't like the looks of Edward OR Carlisle, either.
For some reason my 10 yr old son and husband actually watched the whole thing through, but they were wondering when the action was going to take place., I told them that happens in the 2nd movie. hehe

We watched Body of Lies on Saturday night with Leonardo DiCaprio. Was really good as well ! it surprised me as I am not normally into anything remotely warry but this was great. Love Leo's acting - loved him in Blood Diamond and Catch me if you can as well.
