I saw Holmes last weekend! Loved it! It was funnier than I thought it would be and I enjoyed it.

This weekend I saw Avatar in 2-D. I was impressed without all the 3-D effects. I enjoyed it so much that I am going to go see it in 3-D. I was really suprised by this movie. I was expecting something really Sci-Fi, but it didn't feel that way to me. The seamless CGI was, hands down, one of the most amazing things I have seen on screen. This sets the bar very high for all movies to come. I loved the message in the movie as well. The connectedness of the Navi people to their planet and animals trees gave way to some powerful images. 5 Stars!!

I watched Final Destination today ( the latest one) it was so pathetic i mean the movie was like 1 hour long...no joke.

Book of Eli.
Very good flick. Denzel is always competent but I have a soft spot for Gary Oldman and he does not disappoint in this movie.
Usually I work out a movies ending way ahead of time, but there was a tiny but ultimately massive detail I missed out on with this one. I felt good though that it didn't dawn on me til the last ten minutes, it was smart. I'd recommend it.

the latest movie I saw was 28 Days Later. its aslow film but it plays well on the suspense side.

You should definitely watch 28 weeks later, I thought it was better than the first.

I tried watching Gran Torino (AGAIN!) over last weekend and could not get through it! So many people love this movie. Oh well, will try again later.

I agree. 28 Weeks Later is my favourite from the two movies, although I still enjoy the original.

Went to see Up in the Air with my good lady wife last night. We both loved it. Funny, smart and a little downbeat. Great film.
