I finally saw V For Vendetta tonight. Quite good. I liked the parallels to certain real-life incidents. Natalie Portman did a fantastic job.

I seem to be on this thread a lot lol - this time i watched 'Barton Fink' - absolutely fabulous movie- i highly recommend any of the Coen Brothers films.
I saw the new Star Trek yesterday. My Mom and I really enjoyed it. Especially the guy that played the young Spock ans Simon Pegg as Scotty.
I watched A LOT of movies over the past few days (and it was awesome).
Stardust - starring Claire Danes, Michele Pfeiffer, Robert DeNiro; not bad! Sort of predictable, but still very entertaining. I didn't think I'd like it, but I did. It's funny and lightly scary, with lots of characters, big names, and twists and turns.
Juno - starring Ellen Page, Jennifer Garner, Jason Bateman. AWESOME movie! Ellen Page is great.
Waitress - starring Keri Russell, Cheryl Hines, Andy Griffith. OK movie; good for a rainy day. It was definitely predictable, but I enjoyed it.
Smart People - starring Sarah Jessica Parker and Dennis Quaid. Ellen Page was great in it (dark and brooding), but it was boring, and Quaid's character was too annoying.
The Pursuit Of Happyness
Gangs of New York
Cloverfield. Second time and it's still great. Allthough the beginning can get a bit boring, when you've seen in already.
A view to a kill. I fell asleep, so 'nough said. But I am a fan of Christopher Walken.
Street Kings. A decent action flick, with Keanu Reeves, who can't shake of his matrix character (Sorry Keanu, you aren't THE ONE in every movie you make, show some emotions!!!)![]()
In the past month I have watched Star Wars and The Hangover. Both movies were very good movies, even though I disliked the Star Wars plot.
The Hangover is one of the funniest movies I have ever watched. Period. Everyone needs to see it.
Also Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is coming out in two weeks and I can not wait. I am a huge Transformers fan (even thought the movie has flaws I still find it entertaining) and Megan Fox is hot.
Apocalypse Now
absolutely fabulous- if you haven't seen it I have no idea what you've been doing for the last 30 years.
Up - I do have a four year old.![]()
My husband and I recently went to see a couple of movies, Star Trek + Terminator: Salvation. I loved them both and was so glad to get out of the house ALONE, it had been quite a long time since we seen a movie in the theater that wasn't something to do with kids. And I love to take my kids to see movies, but I love movies myself, adult movies.
