whats the latest movie you have watched?

The family saw Dark Shadows over the weekend. I thought it was fair. I'm not a big Tim Burton fan. The movie manages to cover a lot of the old series plot without huge variances, and throws in some humor here and there. My wife, who started watching DShadows on Netflix a couple of years ago, didn't care for it. She wanted a true horror flick or comedy, but felt like she got neither. Our kids, who are home for the summer from college, seemed to like it.

Headhunters - excellent Norwegian crime suspense thriller (subtitled)
American Reunion - the usual smutty nonsense
Silent House - interesting exercise in one-take scary suspense
Tangled Ever After 3D - wonderful short, follow up to the feature
Beauty And The Beast 3D - great fil, 3D conversion not so much
Safe - OK action thriller with Jason Statham

It's not a new movie, but I watched The Sons of Katie Elder the other day.

We watched a movie called Absentia. It started out to be a little spooky, then lost it's momentum toward the end.

Dark Shadows. I expected it to be better. I thought that it was going to be a comedy, but really it was not so much of it. Yes, Johnny Depp was awesome as always, but still I do not think I will ever watch the movie again. Unfortunately, it did not leave anygood impressions (apart from the actors and music, these were great).

I watched the Iron Lady last night,wasn't sure if I would like it as we in Scotland are not big Maggie fans,however I have to say it was enjoyable and Meryl Streep was AMAZING as the lady herself.

Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. That is one of the greatest movies ever. Johnny Depp is gorgeous, and the whole movie is wonderful, I adored it.
