having grown up in several different parts of maine, i can tell you that it's really not that far off the mark for the ka-tet to pick up on "calla apeak" the way they do. i lived on the passamaquoddy...

i agree completely! and my first though (besides Clint Eastwood) was Viggo Mortensen as well. i like the idea of Clint Eastwood as Cort!
