The Stand (again). Would like to finish The Dark Tower, but I'm in no hurry.
11/22/63, which I read much too quickly.
I was so eager to read the book, I didn't notice this. So, no, it wasn't a spoiler for me.
In order, when the collection is by SK. If not by the Master, I will pick one story whose title grabs my attention, whether first in the collection, middle or last.
Half the ourve. I am now finishing 11/23/63, which--not suprisingly--just blew me away.
Always read the intros, especially to a Stephen King book. (Read the Afterwards, too.)
Actually, Ms. Mod., they're lottery numbers. I've used them to win on many occasions. :cool2:
Mr. King makes no mistakes. It's the copy editors and the proof readers who are to blame.
It's what I thought his family members are in the barn. Otherwise, why keep zombies alive in your barn?
He could be using them for experiments. But what a weird experiment.
It's an idea. Perhaps, being a vet, the doctor thinks they are animals.
Daryl seems to be the only one who has his act together. Everyone else is skittish or worried or afraid. A fine acting job, by the way.
Right. The vet, being a doctor, wouldn't kill them. But how did they get them inside the barn? Lured them in? How?
They have walking dead in the barn. My first impression is that these people are somehow related to the vet and his family.
Thank you, Ms. Mod.
I knew immediately when I saw that they had tied the rope around the well pump that the pump would become loose
and the well zombie would fall back in the well. No surprise there.
Note: my first...
The best:
1. The Stand
2. DT 1-7
3. It
4. Pet Sematary
5. The Plant (though unfinished)
The worst:
There are no worst King books.
Just read the two reviews and don't plan to read any more. Not before I read the book. Why spoil the fun?

When I first saw it, I knew what was coming (having read the book) so I wasn't that grossed out. Strangely, however, many of the people in the movie theater giggled when that scene appeared. ...
I once gave away a SK book and was later visited in my dreams by a spade-claw hand fiend. Since then I have not given away a SK book....
Why are these production companies so greedy? Why not do The Gunslinger first, gross 300 million, and then consider filming
the rest as a trilogy?
Stephen King isn't human. Well, most of the time he is. But when he writes, he's super-human.

"Crappy Stephen King " is an oxymoron.

All good directors bring their own "styles" to a production. What I mean is, does he have the wherewithal, the chutzpah, to see it to fruition?
Does Quentin Tarantino have the chops for this? I wonder.13225
Reading it brought to mind the Road Warrior character in Mad Max. Imagine having to live forever on the defensive. Being a lone wolf, a nomad. (Which reminds me: Mel Gibson today looks nothing like...
