Yet another passes on to the clearing......
She was beautiful, and seemed to have a personality that shined with true down deep beauty. I remember watching her old beach movies when they reran them as after school programming.
This makes me sad. I loved all those corny beach movies of the 1960's, they are a great mood-lifter!
I remember her mostly as a Mouseketeer on The Mickey Mouse Club when I was watching that show as a young girl. She was such a nice person growing up and becoming a lovely young woman. RIP Annette. ♥♥♥
My mom has MS, so she and I always talk when someone with MS passes. Fortunately, my mom was diagnosed late in life (in her 40s) and hers is progressing very slowly. Mom's in her 60s now and is still able to walk and talk. That's AMAZING for MS.
It's always sad for me to see someone with MS go. But, I know it is a relief, too, because what a lot of people don't know about MS is that there is a LOT of pain involved. As the nerves deteriorate, they don't just stop working, they start sending faulty signals, and often those signals tell the brain that you're in pain. :(
...I watched her in many a House of Mouse show(re-runs, but still was glued to them)-and got a kick out of the Kowabunga shtick of the Beach Blanket B-films...hers was a quiet and proud beauty...we'll miss ya pretty girl....
May she rest in peace. It is so sad that we are losing so many of our beloved icons.
RIP You will be missed by so many of us.
I always loved her. She was so pretty and seemed to be just as sweet. I grew up watching her Beach Movies. Man, I loved those movies so much.
