I heard a woman on a call-in radio show not that long ago who was irate about the moose crossing signs on the highway. "Why not put the signs up in a place where there isn't as much traffic?" she argued. "We don't want the moose to be crossing the roads there. It's not safe."

...yeah, that was about white tail deer, and sadly-she was serious.....all I can figure is, years of sprinkling lead paint chips on her cereal instead of sugar...
