Ms. Mod .......................:rofl::rofl:
What are they saying for the Bangor area? Potential for 2 feet plus here in my part of NH.
Ugh.........
I'd thought it was only 12" but then I looked ahead and saw the additional 6" they're predicting on top of that by the end of the day on Saturday. :sad: I'm hoping it's just a case of over-zealousness on the part of the weather forecasters but at least I won't have to go out in it until they've had a chance to get it cleaned up. Stay safe down there!
You guys amaze me. Your winter storms are so severe. Here, our country grinds to a halt after 2 inches, I kid you not. And you lot are facing that storm with humour. Be safe. x
Remember the graphic used in Storm of the Century when the TV reporter was describing the two storms converging? Woke up this morning to Joel Nichols saying pretty much the same thing (he left out the bit about Armageddon by the weekend, though....)
Be safe, Y'all.
Stay safe all my friends in NY and New England area.
Let's hope the snow storm not gonna be very bad.
As well you should! :laugh: Seriously, though, I would not want to have to deal with your hot, humid summers or go through hurricane and tornado seasons which is why no matter how bad the winters are here I would never move to a place like Florida or for that matter any of the tornado alley states. Don't think I could handle it.
They’re predicting about 12” here in the Poconos. I just had a new generator installed and tied it into my breaker box last week. I can run everything except for my heat pump (the fireplace and fans will serve to heat the house) As my luck goes, I thought for sure it was an insurance plan guaranteeing we wouldn’t get any more bad weather this year.
