I remember my friend Sue coming into my room and saying what had happened, we went back to her room to watch the tv and just hugged each other. :down:
Yes, I will never forget.
I was in the student union building. We were all eating, talking and watching the launch. It took us all a few seconds, looking around at one another... is that what's supposed to happen? That doesn't look right?!
Then we started to cry. :down:

I was sitting in the kitchen of my student house watching the launch on a tiny black and white portable TV, it was the most affecting thing I'd ever seen on TV until 9/11.
