Absolutely :y::y: What a wonderful example to others.
I read that the other day! Good for that waiter! If everyone spoke up like that when a social injustice occurred, the world would be a very different place.
I wonder if the family that had to leave, really shared the same opinion of the father, or were they also victims of his pompous comments, and down deep ashamed of his selfish behavior?
Bless this kindhearted young man. I'd like to shake his hand. I have a special needs sister....I've seen the unkind looks, or the deliberate turning of the head that people can give. It does not happen often, thank heaven, but when it does it is infuriating.
Good to see someone with a lick of sense standing up for what is right.

Later yesterday I saw an article about three boys in Tennessee who were nominated for Homecoming King. They decided that whoever won they were going to give the title to another special needs student - and they did.
I cried.
I don't know what's going on but I like what I'm seeing.
Even more sadly, some Down's children are born into abusive households like that.
