Read her column religiously back in the day. She was always brief and to the point. May she rest in peace.
...a lovely woman, and quite helpful to many over the years...her daughter carries on the tradition proudly and well...

(((((Pauline Friedman Phillips [Abby] and family))))) Scott's correct to say she undoubtedly helped so many in her profound career. Rest in peace, and peace to family, friends, and fans.
My mom and i both read dear abby. Now the two of them are gone. precious memories. RIP
(((((king family fan)))))
I always read her columns too. Sad news!!
Read her and her sister, Ann Landers, all the time. Back then, there was no social media, internet or e-mail. You had to either write or type up a letter, put it in an envelope, address and stamp it, then mail it. Then wait a few weeks to see if it got answered. Phew! Yet we survived, grew up and became upstanding citizens (well, most of us anyway). Amazing, huh? :biggrin2:
I grew up reading her column too. She was indeed a lovely lady. May she rest in peace.
