Wind Through the Keyhole misprint
Hi all, I posted this same question before, but in the wrong area. So hopefully now that I've figured out what to do, I can get some help with this problem! I recently purchased a paperback copy of Wind Through the Keyhole from Barns and Noble. When I reached page 150, I was surprised to see that the pages that followed were pages 119-150 all over again, and in place of where page 151 should have picked up, it was page 183 instead. So, I am missing pages 151-182! I've tried looking up to see if this is a common thing, but I've had no luck finding someone with a similar situation! As neat as it would be to have an unique book, it has made reading it a bit difficult! So, my question is this: does anyone else have a copy of Wind Through the Keyhole with similar misprinting? Is this a common issue? If it's not, does that make this a book a collectable, or just a misprinted book I'll have to return? Thanks!
Re: Wind Through the Keyhole misprint
I don't have an answer for you as to how many copies may have been improperly bound but I don't think it would qualify as a collectible copy. It happens more often than the publishers would like, but whether that makes it common :dunno: I don't know what their specific policies are, but it might be worth asking B&N if they would replace your copy with one that is correctly bound unless you really want to hang onto the other one.

I think it's probably no more collectible than one of those two-headed calves at the the fair, though better in that if you choose to keep it you don't have to buy a big freezer.

...I want the farmer made out of butter myself...and huge loaf of Wonder bread...

Keep it, frame it, and hang it on the wall forever. Then sell it after forever is over and retire.
