"Why would I buy it if I can get it for free? And if I can get it for free, the artists are wrong for trying to charge! They are the bad ones for trying to take my money! Art belongs to the people!" Sickening. Those are all actual statements that people have made to me in defending why they download stuff without paying. Sad :(
Yes I hear the same things, also the excuse that the people making films or music are rich so they don't serve any more money, ignoring all the other people that work hard to produce quality materials I just don't understand that mindset I always question would they go into a store and take something without paying and they say its not the same.

I love audiobooks, especially for a re-read.
Thanks for the suggestions, no I've not yet listened to any of the Dark Tower books audio versions, though I will get to them. I started listening in the last year while exercising and found King's books go really well with my workouts.

In reply to Mr Hole, I've never heard any audio books, let alone SK as I prefer to emerse myself in the story at my own pace. I also like to re-read some parts of the story if they are thought provoking or funny. I know you could pause/rewind it at certain points but its not quite the same. That's just my thoughts anyway.

Welcome fellow newb! I understand wanting to hear the stories in your own voice, but I find I get a whole new level of appreciation for the work and its interesting to hear how each actor or King when he reads them delivers the story. Also they've eliminated my road rage, I use to get so upset when stuck at red lights or by bad drivers but now I just relax and listen to the story. But I can understand that they're not for everyone. If you don't want to buy the book again a library is a good way to try one out nearly all have a books on cd section, the one I got for 11/22/63 came on just 3 discs even though the book when read is just over 30 hours long, though most come with significantly more discs.
