They'll approach John Goodman to be Big Jim, but he's probably tied up with 70mm professional commitments.
I'm guessing they'll also approach Tim Daly to play Barbie, since Daly's already King-friendly and is now off "Private Practice".
Jake Busey and Owen Wilson for Carter Thibodeaux and Frank, but neither of them have a history of doing TV.
They'll tap someone like Sally Field or Jean Smart to play Rose....and they'll probably ask Felicity Huffmann to play Julia Shumway, if she hasn't already been snapped up by another network.
Interesting to think of all the possibilities. :)

Tim Daly is at least two decades too old to play Dale; and probably it's more like three.
Ryan Gosling would be my choice, but there's no way he's doing network television at this point.

Not to worry--it was originally going to be on Showtime but it has since been picked up by CBS and the first episode will air Monday, June 24 at 10 PM. Our news stories about this are on the Home page. :smile2:
