question about the books cover
i have the paper back version of this book and im curious why they have train which im asuming is blain. my question is why is train blue and not pink? I cant understand y the people who designed the cover made it blue instead. in the book they clearly say that blain is a pink monorail. could someone please explain to me why this is?

Re: question about the books cover
My book does not have the train on the cover. Could it be a picture of Patricia, who was blue, while Blaine was pink?

The copy I had of Waste Lands had a black train that showed a skull on the front. I don't take this train to be Blaine, but Charlie the choo choo. I think when you get to Wizard and Glass it will make sense. It is hard to explain further, without blowing the story.
I hope this helps a little bit.
Re: question about the books cover
I think they thought a blue and black cover would be more attractive than a pink one.
Notice that all of the accents of the book are black and blue.
Re: question about the books cover
They do it with all the copies. My version has a brown train:
Maybe they thought pink would dissuade some people from reading it? I don't know.

Re: question about the books cover
yeah i guess it could be her, but Blaine was main character of the waste lands lol
Re: question about the books cover
My copy has a picture of Roland an Eddie in font of Lud
Eddie looks like David Banner from the 70's TV versin of The Incredible Hulk
Re: question about the books cover
I always thought it was Charlie the Choo-Choo too, not Blaine.
