Re: Rush! (You know the underrated Canadian one)
I keep seeing all these words like "awesome" and "amazing" being thrown around in this thread and think "These people DO know they're talking about Rush, right?"
Re: Rush! (You know the underrated Canadian one)

No, no, FF.... I get all that. All I am saying is that after their first couple of albums, their music gives me the same sleepy feeling I get when I eat too much turkey or mexican food.
Re: Rush! (You know the underrated Canadian one)
*Rush Set List 2 edit:
They did not play Seven Cities of Gold; they played Wish Them Well in that spot.

This rocks: http://www.cygnusproductions.com/rtp/guitar/guitar.asp It's the Rush Tablature Project. Every single song. And I mean every single one.
Re: Rush! (You know the underrated Canadian one)
Hoss, I know you are just jealous. It's okay.
One week until the Seattle show. I scored a 3rd row, Lerxstside seat, too! :::happy Rush fan dance::: I'll post some of the awesome pics I will get next week!

Re: Rush! (You know the underrated Canadian one)
Okay my fellow Rush fans.... we did it!!! ::: high fives ::: Rush is one of the 2013 inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!! Most of us are a little ambivalent because the HoF snubbed them for so long but OTOH, we're happy that our whinging and petitions have finally paid off :wink2:
The band reacted: “We are honored to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The 3 of us are especially appreciative of our loyal fans whose support and dedication has gone a long way to making this possible. P.S. And special thanks to our moms for voting 6000 times!” – Alex, Geddy, & Neil
Class act, there.

I am very happy for Rush and their legions of fans (of which I'm one!). This gives the R&R HOF some credibility after some of the picks they've made recently (I won't name names...)
