I finished The Prophet; it really had me in its grip. LOTS AND LOTS of football but still a good one. I am starting Shadow of Night by Deborah Harkness. 'Tis the second of her trilogy of a love affair between a vamp and a witch. I am looking forward to the journey.
Just checked my reserved list at the library and A Dog's Journey by W. Bruce Campbell and Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn are heading my way cross county.:eek2:
Just finishing up "We Can Build You" by Philip K. Dick.
As with most of PKD's stuff, this would make a great movie!
Washington Irving's Sketch Book. It's wonderful inspiration for any kind of autumnal writing.
(I'm gearing up for October and apple cider and sweater weather and Halloween and colorful leaves and everything autumn already. I'm ready for August to be overwith.)
I am reading The Incredible Shrinking Man by Richard Matheson. I haven't read much yet, but I'm enjoying it.
I'm reading a book by Carolyn Hart and I'm bored with it because it's got that damn womanish feel to it that I just don't like. I need some stank in my reading . . .hahahahahaaa! I can't even think of the name of the book and don't even feel like checking so I can post the title.
I'm re-reading The Stand.
