You can never go wrong with On Writing. I have read and listened to that book so many times. I wish Stephen would do more nonfiction books. Not just articles but whole books.
My May books read:
24. Audio -- The Other Queen by Philippa Gregory
25. Book -- America's Vietnam War by Elizabeth Becker
26. Audio -- The Constant Princess by Philippa Gregory
27. Book -- The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
The Time Machine - H.G. Wells. Just finished a couple of Ann Rule true crime books this morning.
I've just ordered Poltergeist by James Khan, which is based on the films. Has anyone here read it? I found a few reviews but they seemed slightly mixed.
Thanks!
I had no idea that the film was based on a novel. Thank you for sharing.Quote:

I appreciate your input. Thankee very much.
I, too, would gladly read additional works of non-fiction by Sai King.
I am reading a compelling novel called Children Of The Fog by Canadian author Cheryl Kaye Tardif. It is really good. (Especially after the disaster of The Haunted by Bentley Little!!) I got it for the kindle and have almost finished it!! Later today, I will be picking up The Woman In Black, which comes highly recommended!! ( thanks Cat!):biggrin2:
:biggrin2: No, thank YOU, Helen. It's much appreciated.Quote:
Welcome! I only realised after I'd ordered it, but apparently it's a good adaption and adds a lot of depth to some of the characters.

I find that I can't read that book enough. I love to write and On Writing has been my most valued tool in my endeavor to improve.
Yeah, On Writing is one of my all-time favorite books, too. Not just of Sai King's work, but out of ALL. And yes, the knowledge passed on by SK is truly invaluable, inspiring, and uplifting, IMO!
How many times have you read it, BTW?
UNDER the DOME lol
