Woo-hooo! I wrapped up my reading of Eragon yesterday, I'm so excited, and am really looking forward to re-visiting the next installment, Eldest!!
Not only that, but I also managed about 16 pages of Wolves!!

Ive read all of the Jack Reacher books and I loved them , but I have to agree, there is NO WAY Tom Cruise could play the character,my god there is not a more unlikely person to play it!! Plus is would spoil it for me as I do not like him as an actor anyway.
Thank you!!

I'm currently reading an H.P Lovecraft short story collection. I'm reading it mainly for At the Mountains of Madness in preparation for the upcoming film based on the story, and also because I'm a huge Lovecraft fan. The collection contains a lot of his Dream Cycle works. It's some of the weirdest stuff you'll ever read (The Dream Quest of Unkown Kadath in particular) but it's absolutely entrancing. I do have a stack behind this, including book four of the Dark Tower series and three books based in the Forgotten Realms setting of the Dungeons and Dragons universe.

Mick Foley - Mankind: Have A Nice Day! (A Tale Of Blood & Sweatsocks)
Very good autobiography
Re: What are you reading? (continued)
Recently read, Haunted Cape Cod & The Islands by Mark Jasper. This is fiction come to life as Mark Jasper actually makes his living visiting haunted houses and inns and writing about them, ala Mike Enslin in 1408. There's a nice reference to Sai King in it too.
Currently reading David McCullough's The Path Between the Seas. And Simon Clark's The Ghosting Tide.
Long days and pleasant nights.

Per my lovely wife's recommendation (in hopes that I'd become inspired again,) I've been pondering a 3rd reading of On Writing.
Any thoughts/opinions/suggestions..?

Yes, and I mean this, have her read it too. If nothing but just to further understand your current thought process.

Thankee very much, JT. I really appreciate that!
And actually, before she recommended that I re-read it, I earnestly encouraged her to give it a go.
Great minds think alike, eh!?!
