For lunch today (a late one because work was so busy), I put a honey-water-cardamom lightening treatment on my hair. I'm going to wash it out now. But I'll probably still smell like a cookie.

I maybe should have said "during my lunch." :biggrin2: I hennaed my hair a few months ago, and again a few weeks ago. Love it, but it got a little darker than I wanted. So today I mixed 2 tablespoons honey, 3/4 c. distilled water, and a teaspoon or so of cardamom together, dumped it on my hair, covered it, and let it sit for a few hours. (Honey and cardamom have a gentle peroxide effect.)

The effect is slight; I'm going to probably do it again every few days until I get it where I want it.

Greetings friends! Hope all is well, if not, get with the program. Had a nice steak dinner yesterday at the casino. It is so nice to be a winner. Propane ran out last night so I am sitting here waiting on the propane guy to get here and fill 'er up. He better get here soon, it is getting chilly in here!
Neesy, make sure you try black walnuts, they are the bomb. Remember they are going to taste different than what you are used to. I'm almost positive those in your cupboard are of the english variety but I have been wrong once before.
