The good kind. Fage is great. And not that crap you bought three weeks ago, either. The fresher it is, the more active cultures. (Eventually they eat themselves out of house and home.) FYI: Yogurt is pretty easy to make, if you get sick of going to the store for it. But you need milk to make it, so ... :biggrin2:
Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Eek, that's horrible Patricia. Culturelle is kind of pricey, but good for getting the gut back in order. When my daughter gets antibiotic-related diarrhea, her pediatrician has me go to the pharmacy and ask for Lactinex crystals. They are not by prescription, but they're usually not over the counter, either - you have to ask for them because they're refrigerated, I think? Anyway, you stir a packet of the granules into yogurt and it's like a flippin' miracle - no more loosies!
Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Hello everybody, how are you doing?
I finally got in here somehow.
Lots of changes on the board as I can see. :)
New mods? Awesome idea. I forgot who the beta`s are, so...who are the new mods?
Family and I are doing all right...health-wise that is, financially...not so much. But, keeping the faith.
Like Brandon Lee sang in The Crow : " It can`t rain all the time ", right? :)
Hope everybody is well, love and green lights. :)

Srbo! Good to see you, brutha!
Re: The New Ka-Tet Cantina
Good morning, everyone!
Well, we had an eventful evening last night. I fell asleep pretty early, and the next thing I know hubby is yelling at me to wake up, wake up, the neighbor's house is on fire! Fire department was already there, it looked like a chimney fire, but it took them quite a while to get it out. The wind had died down some, but it sure wasn't helping them. Kind of scary, though, because most of the houses on this street are townhouses that are built thisclose together, so the one right next to it probably has damage too. I feel bad for the family, they are the same ones that had all their vehicles vandalized last summer, they've had a rough year. Have a sweet, shy little boy the same age as Ty and the most gorgeous, friendly dog! One of those dogs that always seem to have a smile on his face. I think they are all ok, I could see the man, but not the little boy or dog, but it was pretty cold, I'm sure they were somewhere safe.
This morning I got up, started my coffee and then walked off. Heard water pitter-pattering so went back into the kitchen, and you know what I did? I set the coffee pot aside after filling the reservoir, because I needed to wipe off the heated plate, so I did that, and then just turned it on! Left the pot sitting on the counter, so I had a mess to clean up first thing. ;;D
We're going to the inlaws for dinner tonight, a big family thing, serious business being discussed. I hope it goes well. No additional fireworks needed. Can't head over there until the kids get out of school, so it's going to be a late night for us.
Sending big big hugs to all, have a great Tuesday! :love2:
