Hi All! Just popping in to wish you all a wonderful Friday and a happy weekend!! Spend your time wisely- do something good for yourself and for another person. Both will make you feel good about yourself!! :laugh: I see that we are now up on facebook? I hope you all won't be migrating over to that place. IMHO it is the devil's playground. JK- don't flame me! I just don't want to feel like the Maytag repairman here, all alone, waiting for someone to come into the 'store'.............

Unfortunately, I'm a legal aid client. The only other legal aid lawyer currently accepting clients is one I Really Wouldn't Want. I saw him in court once. So basically, I'm at the mercy of an ineffective system. At least the cops still watch out for me. They are still being wonderful. Even if I don't get the restraining order, it could reach the point where the cops decide to charge him with criminal harassment. At one point, they told me it was bordering on it.
I've got to work tonight. That will distract me. In the meantime, I'm still finding my soul is full from the hug I got from a friend of mine last weekend, so I'll be okay. I just NEED caffeine. I'll be off in the corner with a black coffee IV today.

I finally start to feel better now. I think fever has gone down and flu are better, my sore throat is not sore anymore. Wohoo. :biggrin2:
I've been on sick leave since yesterday. I worked the whole weekend and this flu never got any better so I thought it might
be a good idea to stay home and just rest couple of days. That really helped. I am ready to return back to work tomorrow.
It was pretty cold over the weekend and now it has warm up again. Forecast says more snow for next week. Why Why??
we have enough of this white stuff on the ground. That only mean more plowing for us.

It was 52F at sunrise, still cloudy. Will get close to freezing tonight. Don't know how you guys do it in sub zero temps. Please take care of your critters.

Hello everyone! Cold season here lately. Everyone seems to have the siffles. Our weather s been a couple nice days a couple cold days. Just enough that the change gets ya. Hoping everyone has a great week.
It's rather cold here (about 20 F), but a friend of mine posted on FB something about being cold yesterday (she lives in Atlanta), and then a friend of hers posted that where she was, the high was -6 (that's -6 F, friends, which correlates to -21 C) and that one of her chickens froze to death overnight. (I am guessing she's in Antarctica? I dunno.) It's cold here, yes, but the birds that live in our rosebush were alive this morning, so ... at least we don't have chickensicles.
My daughter had a frozen mouse in the snowbank in front of her house when I visited Saturday. Temp at the moment is 6 degrees and I'm thinking we're not going to see the 14 forecast as the high. Should be back to positive double digits by the end of the week, though--that 21 degrees is looking pretty good! Northern Maine had some minus 20+ temps this morning so I'm (relatively) happy about our minus 2.
Welcome to our normal winter temps friends. It was -4F (-20C) over the weekend but now we are back in 14F (-10C)
I also heard that in south Finland last week the coldest temperature they had was -25F (-32C) Okay that's too
cold for my taste and in North Finland was above zero. That's weird, usually it should be the other way around.
Cold in North and warmer in South. Please stay warm and safe.
