Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
harvey ?? i must say...that is a shame !!
kinda makes one wonder what other fantastically great movies some have missed...good luck with that :wink2:
saw Frankenweenie...great return to classic form by tim burton !!
watched creepshow :y: , creepshow 2 :suspect: ...and forced myself through creepshow 3 :barf:
got a movie called 'house'...it was on the rac and was supposed to bne the '80's flick with william katt and richard moll...that was, as i reme, ber, a pretty nifty b-movie...
what i got was some dreadful new thing about some weird family out in the country that lures people in for nefarious reasons...don't knw how the whole thing went...bore out of my skull and not the least bit interested by any of it..i turned it off about 1/3 the way through...michael madsen was slumming around in it...thats' about all i recall...
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
Paranormal Activity 4. I really enjoyed the first three movies and was mega excited for this one since it was revisiting Katie and Hunter. Unfortunately PA4 is a terrible movie, the story is ridiculous, it doesn't make sense or provide any answers. There's already a viral internet campaign underway for PA5 which is insane considering PA4 has just been released and all their efforts should have went into making that a better movie! Disappointing.

Went to see that movie on a first date, back in '86 if my memory serves me right
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
Hotel Transylvania - tolerable kids' CGI animated movie
Madagascar 3 - the best of the 3 Madagascars
Frankenweenie - ugly character design as Burton revisits Scissorhandsland but without the charm
Fun Size - too raunchy for kids, not raunchy enough for teens, but enjoyable nonetheless
Silent Hill: Revelation - more muddled meanderings in mist
Skyfall - Bond comes of age: excellent, and valid as art, too.
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World
Frankenstein (1931)
The Wolf Man (1941)
The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
Shawshank was released on blu-ray recently so I re-read the story and then watched the movie last night. The movie is still awesome and Frank Darabont's adaptation of the novella is superb. He only changed a few things and captured the spirit of SK's story beautifully. Frank should really not be allowed to do anything but SK adaptations.:grinning: Every one he has done has been excellent.
The blu-ray is loaded with extras like a director commentary and featurettes on the making of the movie and interviews with cast members, etc. It's an excellent edition and highly recommended by me.
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.
It was amazing. I highly recommend it.
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
I watched Pet Sematary on Saturday night.
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
I watched "The Bay" last night.
It's basically two horrible true things that were combined to make one horror movie.
I highly recommend it because there is a crisis going on in the Chesapeake Bay and no one seems very concerned about it. I hope this movie will open some eyes.
Re: whats the latest movie you have watched?
I got a bunch of King movies as early birthday presents... My most recent watch is Dolores Claiborne. Okay movie, but not as good as the novel, IMO.
