whats the latest movie you have watched?

I just finished watching "Spirit of The Marathon"...I love this movie! It's so motivational, it made me feel like going out for a run. I could feel the emotions of the runners at the finish line, & I cried w/joy for those who finished, Deena Kastor finished first, & could feel their exhaustion! I love watching people run, the body is a great running machine,...to see it in action is incredible! This is my year...going to get back to running, after 4 kids-the last 2 basically one right after the other, my body is yearning to get out in the fresh air & get moving!! Wow, sorry, probably way too much info there!!! That's how much this movie motivates me!!

I watched Tarzan yesterday... :laugh:.
I forgot just how great the Disney classics were. I was literally LOLing at some parts, call it witty jokes or extreme sleep deprivation, but it's better than a lot of the films I've recently seen :grinning:

The American with George Clooney. This is an excellent movie but it was probably ruined for some people by it's trailer. The trailer portrays this as some kind of Bourne-like thriller and it is not that at all. I hate when I see one of these deceptive trailers and I'm are all amped up for one type of movie and I get a totally different one. It's a character study about a hit man type that is looking to get out of the business and wants a more normal life. There is a little shooting and a chase or two but it is not the thrill a minute ride the trailer makes it out to be. Good flick - just don't expect what you see in the trailer.

My kids love those Disney movies,...someone mentioned Up....OMG!! That movie makes me cry everytime I see it! Very moving......but I'm a big cry-baby when I watch movies now, always crying in the sad parts....

O man, Up made me cry, and Wall-E, and pretty much any other Disney movie. I'm such a cry baby too! :blush:

District 9

Pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I was also pleasantly surprised by District 9. Did not expect it to be that good at all.

I watched Jason X (aka Friday the 13th in Space). It was terrible, but what did I expect?

Also saw Paranormal Activity 2. I liked the first one, but this sequel sucked. I've been there, seen it. It offered nothing new from the original, and in fact, some shots seemed purposely duplicated from the first.

Trespass (decent movie with William Sadler, Ice-T, Bill Paxton, & Ice Cube)
Thinner (obviously not as good as the book but it's not too bad, & I liked SK's cameo as Dr. Bangor)

I watched Jason X this weekend too, cheesy but I loved it anyway lol....

I watched VideoDrome last night for the first time in awhile...great mind bending flick!
