I got all sweaty when I read Duma Key. The first chapters gave me a sunburn, but then I got used to it (a bit of peeling and flaking aside) and I was able to enjoy the book. Much better than the three toes I lost to frostbite while reading The Shining, but that's Colorado for you. Almost didn't finish IT... the blackflies were a living hell!
