I would like everybody to write a descriptive essay/poem about what was going on when they finished the dark tower.

heres mine: It was a day in my gym class, and I was itching to finish I was at the part where Patrick was drawing the crimson king, despite my feeling of wanting to fulfill my social ideas, I decided I would finish and for my impatience I finished the Magnus opus in a crummy gym I wish I could have finished it on a rainy day in my study (computer room).

...Twas in my chair
and pulled out my hair
as I screamed "How he dare?!"
(so, I get it it-my rhyming is poor fare)....

Was in the middle of a hurricane, reading by flashlight, praying I'd know the ending before being blown away.

My 15-year-old is getting toward the finishing stages of DT VII at the moment. Earlier in the week he came home from school and said... "Mum! Eddie... oh no, Eddie!" I hugged him and he said, "I was sitting in Study Class and BANG... my DT world started to crumble." Awww, wish I'd known he was getting so close, I would have hidden his book away that day, much prefer he could've read that at home with me.

The Ka'tet just got back together , on the Fedic side of the door, and that robot Nigel is bringing them food

I was on my futon because I was young and didn't have a big girl couch yet. I got to the part where it says do not read. So I stopped, like a good Constant Reader.

Two seconds later I picked it back up and read. Then I started sobbing hysterically. I called my husband and said, "Guess what the last words of the last book are!!" Though he's never read the tower he knows more than most other people because of me and he guessed. He then asked, perfectly seriously, if I was going to be okay. I told him no, I wasn't and that I was very angry. Though, by the time he got home that night I realized it couldn't have ended any other way.

Honestly, I was so swept away by the story I don't remember where I was!

I finished it in bed. Hubby was already mildly irritated with me because I wouldn't put it down and turn out the light. Then, after I picked my jaw back up after reading the last sentence, I cackled like a madwoman, and he really thought I'd lost it. I thought the ending was perfect.

I don't remember where I was located when I read the last page. I have no idea.
