This couple is trying to make a buck off someone else's misfortune. I am sure the hotel is not to blame. People can be heartless.

Hopefully the judge will throw the case out. The concern should be for the young lady and her surviving family.

This had some real stank put on it because the body was in the water tank before it was discovered for two weeks - and this was the first that the public was told about the missing woman! It's not like this is Somalia, Algeria, or Papua New Guinea - L.A. isn't the bastion of female slave trade. Someone very deliberately went about ensuring that this woman wasn't found for a long time - where and how she died has elements of a message to her family. Ten to one they know who killed her. This has gang or family feud written all over it.

Yep. And I would not have liked the fact that I could have possibly bathed in the after affects. I wouldn't sue though. But, I can understand the discomforts this could cause.

Hmm, my best guess is this could hinge on whether there was, and in plain sight, big bright signs for said water tank indicating, *NO SWIMMING!*, AND, *ABSOLUTELY NO DISPOSING OF DEAD STUFF!*...gotta cover yo' azzzz these days is what every bodies who's any body who's got antibodies is sayin':glare:.

I don't know. I don't think they should sue either but I see why they are. They probably feel really violated, even though it wasn't the hotel's fault. I know I would. I would have a hard time drinking water for a really, really, long time and they probably don't know how else to get peace of mind.
Becasue this is where I live I am well updated on this case. Just so everyone knows there is a bunch of video of this girl walking around the hotel by herself acting very irratic. We were informed of her dissapearance quite a while before she was found. I have no idea but I'm going to guess it was suicide. But again, I have no idea.
