My mother got some extra money and she said immediately that these money not goes to any bills. I was
11-years-old a little girl that had dream for a while to get a own horse. It was middle of February 1998, when my parents
promised that they buy with those extra money a pony for me. I was super happy. My dream became true. So
that's how Asta came to us. She has now been mine in 15 years. She was 18-years-old when I got her, now she is
33-years- old. We have had great time together. I have ride in the terrain with her. I have jump with her. I have even racing
with her. And she was the first pony I won the first price with. Asta has been my best friend since February 1998. I know she is
old and some day I have to let her go. But hope she still have few years left and we will enjoy them. She is fully retired now and
spend her time outside daytime and rest her old legs during the night inside. She don't hear well anymore and not even see well.
But are in good shape and still feel well. I know some day it's her time too. And I surely will miss her. But then I can remember
all those times we had together.

Here is a picture of me and Asta 15 -years-ago

Thank you Maryann! She is a great pony. Her color is still same, but some grey hair and there. Her tall and mane has became little grey,
and poor pony has lost most of her bangs. But she is old so that's understandable.

That is soooooooooooooo sweet, Johanna! Is Asta an Icelandic pony? I love how they get all fuzzy in the wintertime.
Give her an apple and some peppermints from me! I love hearing them crunch up the treats and how their breath smells afterwards - and how much they enjoy their treats from a human that they love. (Kisses, too, on her muzzle and nose!)

No Lily, she is a New Forest pony. Born in Great Britain 1980 and moved to Finland 1990. So she lived 10 years in GB before moved to Finland.
She still can some English cause I was joking once with her and yell RUN on English instead of Finnish to her. And you know what, she really start
to run. That was amazing to me. Her real name is Seaton Amber, but we call her Asta.

Great story and picture! We had horses about seventeen years ago, lots of work but well worth it!
