If memory serves, this is a test drive of a musical that is Broadway-bound. If it does well in regional spots like Plainview, it'll get more publicity and financial backing in a larger venue once it hits Broadway.

So if you're in the area, go! Be a part of the Great White Way's history and help make Carrie a hit and a national splash!
