As we are passing the book around Everyone is getting the flu!

ok...see if you can follow all this...My dads friend's mom got this book from her friend who read it and got the flu right in the beginning of the book...As my dads friends mom started reading it she also got the flu! Then my dads friend read it and...what else...got the flu! then my dad got it from him and he...got the flu! Everybody who was involved in the passing around of the book thinks it cursed! The worst part is everybody got the flew in the scariest part! The book to this day (he got it as a child) STILL sits on the book shelf rarely if ever touched...the thought of burning it passed through our minds then we decided not to because the flu in the stand was airborne and we didnt want to release it on the world LOL when I read the book I read a different copy because i wouldnt touch it...

I had severe diareah while reading The Stand. I doubt it was the book. I ate Mexican like 3 times in one week while I was reading. I was unhappy crappy.
