Just finished reading this and yet again I'm bowled over by SK. I've read a lot, different genres, different authors, but none affect me in such a way that I'm thinking about what I've read for days and weeks after.

I don't know how he does it but I'm glad he does - genius 😉

Oddly enough...I recently finished a re-read of this one...I was a bit shocked by how dark this one really is - I had kind of forgotten that. My favorite is still "Fair Extension"...makes you think about what YOU would do in that situation...

I agree! Full Dark, No Stars and Skeleton Crew are my favorite of the story collections.
1922 I would love to see made into a movie. Rats are creepy. I don't mind cute pet store rats, they are actually sweet. But the ones you find in alley ways, barns and sewers....please keep them away!

I absolutely loved this collection. Maybe i'm getting older (or it's too many brain cells been vapourised by wine) but I look forward to his story collections more than anything. Must be my dipping concentration levels....:still_dreaming:

I think this is one the best cover for this collection, it really captures the essence of the collection 17447
