Hi everyone! I'm new to the forums, but I have been reading Stephen king since I was 12 (probably a little young for Stephen, but I've been watching horror since I was very young). My first book was Desperation, and I just loved it. I was hooked and now have read almost all his books (and re-read some - you miss a lot reading adult lit. at 12). My love for horror and fantasy drew me to The Dark Tower series and now they are my favorite books, especially the 4th one. My absolute favorite character (besides Jake and Oy of course) was Susan Delgado. I even did a photo shoot inspired by her in the DT comic and books (link here: http://melima51.deviantart.com/gallery/40609088 (http://www.stephenking.com/forums/redirector.php?url=http%3A%2F%2Fmelima51.deviantar t.com%2Fgallery%2F40609088) )
I look forward to discussing Stephen King with fellow fans on this forum!! =D

Thanks! I love reading this board, but I have always been a little shy to post, so I am more of a lurker =/
Maybe I'll chime in to something since there is sooo much to talk about =)

I don't know if you write any at all, but even if you don't, Stephen King's book called "On Writing" is a great read! It has helped me immensley with my writing, and it tells a great story of his life!

Welcome.
Don't listen to them. There are only leftover party favors in the elevators anyway.
