A gentle reminder that US postal rates will increase as of January 27, 2013.

Why is the postage rate only going up .01? Geez, with all of the financial problems going on, shouldn't it be more? I know no one wants to pay more but paying more is better than the post office collapsing. Didn't the PO lose several billion last year?
This hardly seems like enough.

For those who mail packages you can get prepaid flat rate boxes at the PO. Might save a dollars. Internationals rates skyrocketed and they changed some of how they classify/name items to be mailed.
