Ever notice it's not women who say this dumbass stuff? I can't even express the level of contempt I have for this guy.

I'm not implying that this is a typical male view, by the way. I know most men would recognize this for the malicious idiocy that it is.

I'm not sure that public admonishment is enough. I'd hate for this one to be a judge at a loved ones rape trial.

What a stunningly fine example of jurisprudence, and just another reason why pacifism, though it sounds like a wonderful ideal, just freakin' eludes me, I mean I can see it, I just can't reach it:glare:.
Now that right there is one 'good ol' boy' what really needs a couple (dozen) good well placed smacks upside his empty head, and a blind date with a cellblocks worth of lonely Bubbas with adjudicator anger issues, you know, to properly test "his honor's" ASSertions.
Talk about your abysmal abominations, some humans', just ain't human:down:.

The California Commission on Judicial Performance voted 10-0 to impose a public admonishment Thursday, saying Superior Court Judge Derek Johnson's comments were inappropriate and a breach of judicial ethics.

...glad to see they have a great grasp of the obvious...make him stand on a corner with a big yellow sign that proclaims....."Call me Judge Asshat".....

I got so mad about this I had to post about it on FB. (That is a big deal for me as I have friends and family of all kinds of beliefs and generally insist that my "wall" remain respectful and strife-free.)

It sounds like he must have been ignoring the case.

"I'm not a gynecologist, but I can tell you something: If someone doesn't want to have sexual intercourse, the body shuts down. The body will not permit that to happen unless a lot of damage is inflicted, and we heard nothing about that in this case," Johnson said.

Of course we all know how illogical, and foolish the first part of that statement is. But it sounds like there was damage inflicted, yet he heard nothing about it in that case... :umm:

The trouble will judges is that they are allowed to be on the bench too long and their sense of justice gets mixed up with their personal opinions. I think judges should only be on the bench for five years or so. Some of them get to a point where they think their word is law and nothing else.

I hope that judge is put into a situation at some point where he's flipped over a rail or a bench and someone gives it to him dry. Let his body shut THAT down.
