Hi guys,
I bought a pair of tickets to tomorrow's Discussion With Stephen King at UMass Lowell. I'm in NYC and I don't think I can make it up there now. If anyone would like them for free, let me know. I've got them at my desk and I can fedex them to you

Wow-- what a generous offer! Too bad I'm stuck 3,013.9 miles away in rainy Sacramento...

Can you send a private jet up to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada? I can probably get off work since it's such a special event! :down: Ha Ha I wish! By the way, this is very generous of you!

Wow!! If I lived closer I'd grab 'em in a second! I hope someone can use them, Big Pink. :)

You are the nicest person in the world.

I really wish I: A) lived closer or B) had money to randomly fly across the country.

Oh MAN, I REALLY, REAAAALLLY wish I could go (live too far away, alas), for TWO BIG REASONS: One, to see the King, natch. And Two, Lowell, MA is JACK KEROUAC'S home town! He's buried there, even. Gosh, that'd be a killer-diller double whammy, as King and Kerouac are my two favorite authors.

Can't afford the plane tickets right now, doggone it.

:love:

I'm a fan of Stephen King's; I'm seeing him tonight.
I think I'd read anything that he decides to write.
First time that I browsed the web ('cause I was feeling bored)
Thought I'd check out Stephen King; I found his Message Board.

Met a lovely group of people there and made some friends,
Who I plan to use now for my own (quite selfish) ends;
If, perchance, some one of you who's also going there
And has tickets on the floor (I'm breathing thinner air);

If you get the chance to ask him questions and you're stumped,
Please don't ask him where his ideas come from; you'll get jumped.
Tell him that you love his books, admire his great skill.
That the chance to meet him here tonight is such a thrill...

Then ask him the question that his fans all want to know;
Has he heard the rumors Kevin Youkilis might go
Put on Yankee pinstripes? Does King think that even he
Could convey the horror felt by Red Sox fans like me?

:eek2:
