Errr, maybe they have... but I wanna feel special for a moment... :/

So Im re-reading Roadwork (Bachman book) at the moment. And the highway that is to be built through Bart's neighborhood is Highway 478.

4 +7 +8= 19

Has anyone else ever noticed this? What does it all mean!

It simply means that Ka is a wheel, wheels turns on roads, highways are roads, and if the thunder don't get you, then the lightning will.

I suppose that is why in Children of the Corn, that at age 19, you are sacrificed to "The Corn"...

Any appearances of 19 before June 19, 1999 cannot be deliberate Dark Tower references. It's just a coincidence.

That's a valid point. However, maybe the # 19 had meaning in Sai King's brain long before he ever put it on paper? I swear, there's just too many coincidences for them to all be coincidences?

I think it's the red car theory in action. You buy a red car, you see them everywhere. I see 19's everwhere...

I agree with this.

My favorite number is 27. That's because I see it everywhere. Everywhere. It has no meaning to me other than the fact that it follows me around. There must be a reason for it I don't know yet.

Or maybe it's just a coincidence....

I can eat 19 corn dogs before I start puking!

Can I write a book about that without being sued? "Children of the Corndogs" ?

As long as the book itself doesn't use Steve's characters or settings or plot line, then sure. :smile2:

I love the idea... Children of the Corndogs. No need to for Isaac or Malichi... or even He Who Walks Behind the Rows.. it could be about a couple of young carnies.... He Walks Behind the Midway... I love it.

I have often wondered what Mr. King is going to be doing-writing. in the year 2019 . Its only 7 years away.
chances are he will still be writing , chances are good anyhow.

Lets hope 2019 is a better year for him then 99' was . and all the years between now and then .
